Gold Futures Rise, Silver Down

Gold futures increased Rs33 to Rs76,904 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created po-sitions on a firm spot demand. Silver futures fell Rs195 to Rs90,680 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.

On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for February delivery traded higher by Rs33 or 0.04 per cent at Rs76,904 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 12,995 lots.
